Hi everyone!

Here's the update on the new version of MMS.

First I want to explain why there's been a delay in releasing the next version of MMS and then I'll give you the good news, including dates for the beta test and the first MMS update. :)

But first…

Every now and then we all have "one of those days" where nothing at all goes right.

You know what I mean.  The day starts off bad and quickly goes straight to worse. One thing after another after another goes wrong.

Fortunately we only tend to have these days very rarely…

Except somehow I managed to have "one of those days" over and over again in recent weeks.

Let's see if you can top this for a run of bad fortune:

  •  I was diagnosed with severe mono / glandular fever and told by my doctor I wasn't allowed to exercise and had to get lots of bed rest.

  •  I was called up to serve Jury duty on a trial.

  •  My wife's father was hospitalized into the intensive care unit for two weeks (he's ok now thankfully).

  •  My work laptop died… Twice.  After two full re-installs it still refuses to work properly - including letting me use Camtasia to create a preview video for the new version of MMS! :(

  •  My own father developed heart problems and has been in and out of hospital for a battery of tests.

  •  A website I was working with had it's PayPal account frozen for 3 weeks causing significant problems for people waiting on payments.

  •  Somebody tried to open the locks on our car… with a screwdriver.  The lock was ruined making it impossible to get into the car.

  •  A brand new hard drive in the brand new dedicated webserver I'd spent three full days setting up and configuring suffered a complete failure… losing all of my work two hours before I had the first full backup scheduled.

  •  For an as yet unexplained reason, someone at my ISP decided to cancel the email addresses I have had with them for the last 7 years resulting in the loss of critical emails for 18 hours.

  •  A "small" programming project I took on for a client "on the side" unexpectedly became a *huge* project which has taken up a massive amount of time.

You get the picture, right? :)

All of this has made for an extremely challenging time recently and has also meant delays in getting the new version of MMS finished and out to you.

But I'm happy to say it's not all doom and gloom.  Here's the good news…

Now that everything has (finally!) started to settle down and I'm getting right back to work on the development of MMS.

I have one final project that must be completed by June 9th and which I have a great deal more free time.

With this in mind here are the dates you've been waiting for:

The beta release date for the first new update for MMS is June 10th.

This will be followed by 7 days of furious testing and bug fixing.

The official release date for the first new update to MMS is set for June 17th.

Here's the even better news…As soon as this final project is finished, I'm taking time off to work on MMS full time, to catch up on where I had wanted to be by now.  That means the second major version of MMS will happen very quickly after the first update - all going well around the of June or very early July.

As mentioned before, all the work I'm doing on MMS is 100% unpaid and in my own spare time.

So, I'm putting together some really special offers that will allow me to spend a lot more time working on MMS over the next 2-3 months.  100% of the income from these offers will go straight back into the development of MMS meaning I can turn down other work and focus much more time on MMS itself.  Keep an eye out for the first offer in about a week.

I'm aiming to "wow" you with something that you will find really valuable and immediately usable in your online businesses So, in summary, the key things you need to know are:

  1. The beta release date will be June 10th, with a week of beta testing and bug fixing to follow.
  2. The first official update to MMS will be released for free around June 17th.
  3. The second update to MMS is scheduled for release at the end of June / early July.

Thank you again for being patient while I have to deal with everything that's been going on.

And if you're not already a subscriber to the Website Systems Expert blog, sign up now at http://www.websitesystemsexpert.com.  Over the next couple of weeks I will be posting about some of the experiences I've been through recently and exactly what you need to do to avoid the same disasters in your online business.

Topics covered will include how to avoid getting your paypal accounts frozen (and what to do should it happen), how to know if you should change your web hosting provider *immediately* to avoid disaster, putting proper backup systems in place should a hard drive die (or your website get hacked etc) and more.

In the meantime, stay tuned for the official MMS beta test annoucement in just over a week.

I'm interested in your feedback and thoughts, so please feel free to leave a comment at:
